Equipment Manager Needed for the AAB Board - Fundraising Committee Members Needed
Please consider joining the Ascension Athletic Board. We currently need an Equipment Manager. Information on positions - time commitment and responsibilities- will be discussed at our next meeting. 2018-2019 Fee Update
The Board met with parents on Monday April 23rd to discuss increased prices compared to last year. It was decided by all attendees to reinstate the booster fee per family and charge the true cost of each sport. The purpose of the booster fee is to provide funds to cover replacement equipment such as balls, soccer nets, medical kits, bags, replacement jerseys, etc.… per sport.
Registration costs for the 2018-2019 athletic year will be as follows:
Soccer: $75 Golf: $60 Basketball: $100 Cheer: $30 Volleyball: $65
A one per family booster fee of $40 will be charged yearly.
These costs are as true to actuals as possible and until fundraising is back on track the booster fee will stay. Each year the Board will review the actual costs for each sport, projected expenses, and fundraising income to determine registration costs for the following season.
The Board will be implementing a fundraising committee and will be extending personal e-mails to those of you who already offered your time to help. In addition, anyone who would like to be a part of this committee is welcomed to contact any board member and attend our next meeting on May 21 at 7PM in the parish office building.
